Mini-symposium on Lipids in a Developmental Perspective

Date: September 2012

Dietary fatty acids modulate the health prognosis of vertebrates. Importantly, these changes are often initiated during development. This mini-symposium aims to present established and new knowledge on the impact of various lipids in health and disease, with special focus on developmental processes.

On behalf of Lipidforum, the organizing committee from NIFES would like to invite you to two exciting days close to the famous fjords of Norway at Solstrand Hotel outside Bergen. We expect to gather people from both research and industry to an international and interdisciplinary meeting.

Key note speakers:

Gérard Ailhaud, Full Professor of Biochemistry Emeritus
Faculty of Medicine
Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis

Bruce A. Watkins, Professor and Director
